Indian Hawkers

Indian Hawkers

In the nineteen-thirties, there was an old Indian Hawker who used to camp on the creek with his dog and horse and cart. The back of his cart was like a whole shop. He would build a campfire and tell stories. He would cook his dinner in a big black pot. He used to give us kids carrots out of the pot.
