Community Spirit

With the closure of 2 of the 3 banks in Coleraine, the community became anxious that it may lose the final banking service. Community meetings were held and the Coleraine and District Development Association undertook to form a steering committee to work with the Bendigo Bank to secure banking services for the future. The Bank opened in April 2003 in the former State Bank premises.
