The Polio Epidemic

The Polio Epidemic

I remember the Polio epidemic in 1938. I was a young girl. All the children were in quarantine. I begged my father to take me with him into town shopping. He finally agreed, but I had to remain crouched down in a blanket in the back of our 1928 Buick.
